We create exceptional first impressions and provide parking, transportation, and guest support services for leading healthcare systems across the United States.We are seeking a friendly, dependable Patient Transporter to help patients safely and comfortably travel between the Medical Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center. If you enjoy helping people, staying active, and making a difference every day, this is an opportunity to build valuable customer service experience while working alongside one of the nation's top healthcare organizations.MONDAY through FRIDAY: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.What You'll Do:Escort patients between the clinic and treatment center.Safely transport patients using wheelchairs.Help patients and visitors with directions and wayfinding.Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service.Ensure patients arrive safely and promptly at the correct destination.Communicate delays or concerns to clinic staff.Help keep wheelchairs available and organized.Follow all hospital safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and customer service requirements.Patient Transporters do not lift, transfer, or physically move patients to or from chairs, vehicles, beds, or other surfaces.REQUIREMENTS:Able to walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.Able to safely push occupied wheelchairs over extended distances.Able to stand, walk, use elevators, and navigate hospital corridors throughout the day.Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.Friendly, patient, professional, and comfortable assisting patients and families.Strong communication and customer service skills.Able to remain calm and helpful in a healthcare environment.Previous experience in patient transport, healthcare, hospitality, guest services, or customer service is preferred.DUTIES INCLUDE:Greet all patients in a welcoming mannerPatient screeningWheelchair and sanitation assistanceCommunicate with guests effectively and offer Way-findingIdentify additional customer service opportunitiesMaintain strict patient confidentiality at all timesPerform other related duties required to maintain a compassionate and safe environment for all patients, guests, and medical personnel.REQUIREMENTS:EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.DRIVING RECORD: 3 years of continuous Driver’s License experience.License must be continuous: Suspended or expired licenses within 3 years aren't allowed.No more than 2 minor moving violations within the last 3 years.No major moving violations within the last 3 years.No alcohol or drug-related violations within the last 3 years.PROFESSIONALISM: Positive Teamwork Mindset, great communication skills, and a clean-cut appearance.COMPLIANCE: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and meet the company's motor vehicle eligibility requirements.
