Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: 3x12s day/night shift variable (scheduled as needed) + every other weekend, holiday, and 2 on call shifts in 4 weeks

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- NYS RN Licensure
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
- One year of experience serving in a Medical/Surgical environment as a Registered Nurse

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients and families.
- Assess patient needs and develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary based on patient response.
- Educate patients and families regarding self-care and lifestyle changes post-discharge.
- Safeguard public health and safety while adhering to infection prevention protocols.
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families by actively engaging and communicating their needs.
