Test Developer Engineer

Responsibilities Developing and documenting new test systems or their variants in a software and hardware environment. C family languages including C#, source code version control tools and object‑oriented paradigm; Programming languages including Python, TCL, XML scripting, MATLAB, and LabVIEW. Using analog radio frequency instruments to perform conducted and radiated measurements with signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers. Creating design specifications for test and troubleshooting of devices under test. Analysing and using analog RF components. Implementing and verifying new test methods, including remote control of devices under test and automating control of measurement equipment. Supporting test station setup, troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration; assisting product designers with prototype debugging and performance evaluation. Improving test system performance and stability through statistical data analysis and interpretation techniques, such as test time reduction, yield improvement, and false‑failure reduction. Developing test methods using analog and digital electronics. Performing far‑field and near‑field antenna measurements. Reading and understanding electrical schematics and working with PCB layout tools. Applying digital signal processing techniques. Calculating measurement uncertainty. Integrating and verifying radio design bench software to communicate with RF instruments, including signal generators, analyzers, and power meters. Implementing embedded software continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment process.
