(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Responsibilities Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow following company policy and procedures. Utilizes equipment appropriately for merchandising, handles inventory exceptions, corrects shelf capacities, and maintains required paperwork logs and documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. Properly zones the area, stocks and rotates merchandise, removes damaged or out‑of‑date goods, sets up and cleans product displays, and ensures the prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Processes defective merchandise following company and regulatory policies and procedures for sanitation and food safety and monitors shrink, security risks, and safety. Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking club pick‑up orders throughout the day and staging them according to company policy. Performs occasional audits for accuracy. Handles moves and displays goods in a safe and correct manner, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage in a timely manner. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Additional Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
