Overview The posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support services. The position is not an employed physician role; physicians govern clinical operations, clinical decisions, and patient‑care policies. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the nephrology specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural).
