Respiratory Therapist | Westfield, Indiana

Exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care in a dynamic setting near Indianapolis. This full-time, nights-based contract role is ideal for those passionate about patient-centered therapy and eager to gain valuable experience. The position is available for a minimum of 8 weeks and requires immediate availability for candidates ready to start soon.
Schedule:
- Nights
- Minimum 8-week contract
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- Generalist skills preferred
- Experience with General Electric (GE) equipment is highly desirable
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication skills and commitment to team collaboration
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a diverse caseload
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory and GE ventilator equipment
- Perform respiratory assessments, respiratory therapy procedures, and patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document all procedures and patient responses
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment
