Physical Therapist (Travel) – Lincolnshire, IL Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13‑week travel assignment. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Maintain billing and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines, state regulations, and payer requirements. Interface with medical‑center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment; modify plans of care as patient conditions change. Use the medical‑center computer system for daily tasks and provide accurate documentation. Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience; 1 year preferred. New graduates encouraged to apply. BLS certification and state‑specific licensing required. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Familiarity with PT board rules and regulations and compliance with state requirements.
