NEW IN – Mid-Level Labor & Employment Litigation Associate | 5–7 Years | Wage & Hour + PAGA | Up to $320K DOE | Los Angeles Hybrid I'm currently working closely with a nationally recognised Labor & Employment practice that is continuing to grow its California team. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants sophisticated employer-side litigation, hands-on responsibility and direct exposure to experienced employment litigators , while having the resources of a major national platform behind them. Substantive Responsibility – Take ownership of motions, discovery strategy, depositions and case development , rather than being limited to supporting work. Work Alongside Highly Experienced Litigators – Join a team with attorneys who have handled complex employment disputes in state and federal courts , including significant wage-and-hour matters and trials. National Platform, California Focus – Gain the resources and reach of a large national litigation practice while working closely with the California Employment team. Broad Employment Practice – Exposure extends beyond litigation into employment counseling, workplace policies, investigations, arbitration and risk management , allowing you to develop as a well-rounded employment attorney. Strong Professional Development – Develop alongside experienced employment attorneys with access to the mentorship, training and resources of an established national platform. The Role Defend employers in wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions . Manage single-plaintiff employment litigation from inception through resolution. Take and defend depositions while developing overall discovery strategy. Draft motions, briefs, pleadings and other substantive litigation documents. Work closely with senior employment litigators on complex California matters . Develop case strategy and communicate directly with sophisticated employer clients . Contribute to hearings, mediations and trial preparation as matters progress. About You 5–7 years of California Labor & Employment Litigation experience. Strong employer-side employment litigation experience . Experience defending wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative actions . Active California Bar admission in good standing. Experience with discovery, motion practice and depositions . Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills . Ability to manage substantive litigation responsibilities with increasing autonomy . Location Hybrid – 3 days per week in office Package Up to $320,000 total compensation, depending on experience and qualifications.
