Associate Pastor of Worship and Discipleship

The Associate Pastor of Worship and Discipleship partners closely with the Senior Pastor to lead gospel‑centered, theologically rich worship, modeling spiritual maturity, active church involvement, and a healthy prayer and family life. This ordained minister, aligned with the 2000 BF&M, cultivates a blended worship culture, introduces new songs, builds choirs and a holistic music ministry, leads congregational singing, supports pastoral care, and strengthens church communication and technology, demonstrating strong organization, collaboration, and proficiency with tools like ProPresenter and SongSelect.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Plan and lead weekly worship services in partnership with the Senior Pastor

· Lead congregational singing and guide the church in gospel‑centered, theologically rich worship

· Introduce, teach, and integrate new songs into the church’s repertoire

· Build and develop choirs and a holistic music ministry across age groups

· Recruit, equip, and collaborate with pianists and future instrumentalists

· Provide pastoral care alongside the Senior Pastor as needed

· Maintain high personal and musical standards, modeling active involvement in Bible study and accountability

· Support office staff by helping maintain effective technology and church‑wide communication systems

Ensure worship ministry organization, scheduling, communication, and preparation are consistently excellent
