CDL Driver – Contract Position

Sterling Heights, MI 48314

Stone Warehouse of Michigan is a leading distributor of natural stone and quartz products. We are currently seeking a reliable, professional CDL Driver to join our team for a dedicated local route in Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas.

This is a 4-week contract position with the possibility of extension, based on business needs and performance.

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle on local and dedicated routes.
Deliver products to customers and job sites throughout the surrounding area.
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Complete required delivery and vehicle documentation.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Clean driving record.
Must provide 10 years of employment/driving history as required.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Minimum of 2 professional references required.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Day shift
Overtime may be available/required based on business needs.
Home every night
