Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN – Ohio Start Date: October 5, 2026 (ASAP start preferred) Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 4x10 day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Call requirements include one week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM following regular shift) and one weekend of 24-hour call every two months. Call volume is generally low, with most call-ins for pacemaker cases lasting approximately 2 hours. Highlights: Work in one of the largest and most advanced Electrophysiology programs in the region Perform specialized procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure Collaborate with world-renowned electrophysiologists and a multidisciplinary team using state-of-the-art mapping systems and cutting-edge cardiology technologies Epic EMR system in use Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with complex heart rhythm disorders First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of experience required Requirements: Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required Epic charting system experience preferred Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a leading-edge cardiac care team dedicated to innovation, research, and exceptional clinical outcomes.
