Position Type: Full Time - Mon-Fri 08:00 a.m.–03:00 p.m.

Compensation: Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 Per Year

Description:

• Join our team as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting, providing services to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• This full-time position in Smithtown, NY, offers consistent weekday hours and extensive paid leave during school breaks.

• Candidates must hold a valid New York State Physical Therapist license.

Requirements:

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy services based on student IEPs.

• Evaluate and assess students using standardized testing and clinical observation.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Rotate among classrooms to offer services in educational settings.

• Track student progress using technology devices.

• Complete evaluations and required documentation.

• Collaborate with educators, clinicians, and families.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Physical Therapist license and registration.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Ability to work with students with diverse needs.

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred.

• New graduates may be considered.
