Key Responsibilities As an LPC with Veteran Behavioral Health Counseling, you will: Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions tailored to address the unique mental health concerns of clients, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and adjustment disorders. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the needs of each client, employing diagnostic tools and methods to gather pertinent information that will inform personalized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling during moments of acute distress, ensuring clients feel safe and valued while navigating their challenges. Deliver psychoeducational resources to clients and their families, promoting understanding and supportive practices for mental health management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that honors each client's holistic well-being. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in adherence with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess: A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field. An active and independent LPC license issued by the state board. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective expression of ideas and client needs. Strong decision-making skills, founded on clinical training and professional experience. Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your skills and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
