Located in West Reading, PA, Reading Hospital is the flagship, Magnet Recognized, acute care hospital of Tower Health and a recipient of Healthgrades® America’s 50 Best Hospitals Award. This highly qualified candidate will be supported by a team of advanced practitioners with cutting-edge training and skills, who provide 24/7 coverage. The candidate is involved in all aspects of thoracic surgery, and support of the Oncology and Gastrointestinal services. Candidates should have good facility with minimally invasive and open lung resections, including robotics. The candidate should also have capabilities to manage benign and malignant esophageal surgery, mediastinal disease and diaphragmatic reconstruction. Teaching opportunities exist with medical students and residents.
