Travel RN – Cath Lab

Michigan City, Indiana | Days | 40 Hours/Week

Join the Cath Lab team at Franciscan Health Michigan City in a 1:1 procedural care environment supporting cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology cases.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Cath Lab RN
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Typical Shift: 4 x 9-hour shifts with 1 rotating day off
• Rotating Start Times: 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
• Call: Approximately 8–10 call shifts per 4-week schedule
• Weekend Requirement: Weekend call
• Floating: None
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Labs: 2 Cath Labs
• EMR: Epic Cupid

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• Sedation competency
• Circulating competency
• Must successfully complete the required EKG test

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Preferred

• Recording competency
• Epic Cupid experience

Equipment

Experience may include:

• Philips Xper
• Intra-aortic balloon pump
• Impella

Patient Population / Procedures

The unit supports:

• Cardiology
• Vascular procedures
• Interventional Radiology

Ideal Candidate

Seeking a self-motivated, dependable RN who works well in a team-oriented procedural environment.

Dress Code

• Hospital-issued light blue surgical scrubs
• White or gray undershirts only
