As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for employment. This experience should be documented and verifiable through previous employment or training programs. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for all candidates, in compliance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM Tue 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM Wed 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM Thur 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM Fri 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs. Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and disruptive behavior across the property. Minimum Requirements: Have at least six months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
