Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides expert nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and critical conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, delivering immediate interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their condition.
  
  
• 
  Deliver prompt, evidence-based nursing interventions in emergency situations.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with physicians, tech staff, and other healthcare team members.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain readiness to respond to rapid changes in patient status.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license in Colorado.
  
  
• 
  Possess a current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate manual dexterity and physical agility for emergency procedures.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and the ability to function well under pressure.
  
  
• 
  Support a team-oriented approach and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
