Community Empowerment Services (CES) is seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our Taunton outpatient behavioral health practice. 

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced LICSW to combine direct psychotherapy with meaningful clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and leadership within our interdisciplinary practice. The role remains grounded in direct patient care while carrying a greater level of clinical supervisory responsibility in support of the Clinical Director and CES clinical team.

Position Overview
TheLICSW Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor provides high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to a diverse client population while taking on a meaningful clinical supervision and mentorship role within the CES team. 

The position combines a strong clinical caseload with regular clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and clinical leadership responsibilities. The clinician will work closely with the Clinical Director to support the professional development of clinicians and promote consistent, ethical, evidence-based clinical practice. 

This role is well suited to an experienced LICSW who enjoys direct patient care and is interested in expanding or utilizing their skills in clinical supervision and leadership. 

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy based on clinical expertise and patient needs 
• Maintain an assigned outpatient clinical caseload 
• Complete comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans 
• Provide diagnostic assessment within the scope of licensure and training 
• Utilize evidence-based and clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions 
• Monitor patient progress and utilize outcome measures when appropriate 
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including SOAP notes, assessments, and treatment plans 
• Utilize CES's AI-assisted documentation tools to support efficient, timely, and accurate clinical documentation 
• Coordinate care with other providers and community resources as clinically appropriate 
• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation and clinical collaboration 
• Maintain appropriate professional and ethical standards 
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education 
• Contribute to CES clinical initiatives and the continued development of best practices 

Clinical Supervision, Consultation & Leadership
Working collaboratively with the Clinical Director, the LICSW will provide ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and support to clinicians within the practice. 

Responsibilities may include: 

• Provide clinical supervision to Master's-level clinicians pursuing licensure and/or other clinicians as assigned 
• Support the Clinical Director with ongoing clinical consultation and case review 
• Provide regular feedback and mentorship to clinicians regarding clinical practice and professional development 
• Support clinicians with treatment planning, documentation, ethical decision-making, and complex clinical situations 
• Assist clinicians in developing strong clinical skills and professional confidence 
• Promote evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive clinical practice 
• Participate in clinical case consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration 
• Support the Clinical Director in maintaining strong clinical standards and best practices across the practice 
• Identify clinical training and professional development needs and assist with addressing those needs 
• Maintain appropriate documentation of supervisory activities 
• Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for the CES team 
• Contribute to the continued development of a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence 

The supervisory component of this position is ameaningful and ongoing part of the role while maintaining a strong connection to direct clinical practice. 

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) 
• Active Massachusetts LICSW required  
• Strong psychotherapy and clinical assessment skills 
• Clinical supervision experience preferred 
• Demonstrated interest in clinical supervision, mentorship, and/or leadership 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach to clinical care 
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice 
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary behavioral health team 
• Strong professional boundaries and commitment to sustainable clinical practice 
• Weekday and evening availability 

Compensation & Schedule

• Estimated full-time annual compensation: $88,000–$95,000 
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available 
• Full-time positions are 30+ hours per week and eligible for CES benefits 
• Schedule can be designed collaboratively based on clinical needs, provider availability, and mutually agreed-upon expectations 
• Weekday and evening availability 
• Dedicated paid time for clinical supervision, team meetings, consultation, and other required clinical responsibilities 
• Paid no-show appointments 
• Additional clinical hours may be available by mutual agreement
