RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

East Georgia RMC Travel Labor & Delivery RN Start: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 6:45a - 7:15p, EOW, floating & call required

Call requirements: 2 12hr call shifts per every 6 weeks (one must be a weekend shift)

Floating required between departments in the Women's Pavilion

$90/hr rate approved

2+ years experience required

2+ previously completed travel assignments in L&D required

BLS, ACLS, NRP required

CPN & Cerner experience preferred

Must be able to pass an EKG

Monitor and assist laboring patients, communicate with providers, circulate in OR for c/s, competently triage 20 weeks and up Scope of role: Labor, circulate for vaginal delivery (circulating for cesarean is preferred), attending deliveries to support newborn resuscitation, recover vaginal and cesarean deliveries, provide care to antepartum requiring care in L&D

Max RTO: none as long as weekend requirements are met

Scrub color = Navy blue

EMR used = CPN (GE) and Cerner

Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 per AWHONN Staffing Standards

Number of beds in unit: 13 -8 LDRs, 5 Triage Beds
