This opportunity calls for a licensed pharmacist with a strong foundation in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice. Working the night shift on a 7-on, 7-off schedule, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and accurate medication management during critical overnight hours.

Location: Woodstock, GA
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off | Night shift (9 PM – 7 AM)

Duration: 13 weeks +
System Experience: EPIC, Pyxis

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision to guarantee patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth, compliant operations
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapy and patient outcomes
• Consult collaboratively with nurses and physicians to address medication-related inquiries and recommendations
• Serve as the sole pharmacist on site during night hours alongside pharmacy technicians, managing all aspects of pharmaceutical care independently

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of current inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong skill set managing pharmacy operations independently during overnight shifts
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
