We're searching for a talented Louisiana Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to join our client's dynamic team! In this role, you'll manage indemnity claims for our Trust Fund and TPA clients from start to finish – investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating, and bringing claims to successful closure. What You'll Do Guide clients through the entire claims process with a personal touch Connect quickly with policyholders, claimants, and witnesses to create action plans Determine coverage, assess liability, and evaluate damages Develop smart file strategies while keeping everything properly documented Ensure timely benefit payments and appropriate medical treatment Identify opportunities for subrogation and manage liability exposures Negotiate settlements that work for everyone involved What You'll Need 5+ years of workers' compensation claims experience Louisiana jurisdictional knowledge and adjuster license (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Excellent communication abilities – you'll be talking with everyone from claimants to lawyers to medical professionals A customer-first mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills Self-motivation and the ability to work independently Ready to put your claims expertise to work in a role where you'll make a real difference?
