As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Specialist in Latrobe, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, common spaces, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, assisting with visitor questions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
