Expo Food Runner

Description The Expo/Food Runner is primarily responsible for expediting food, ensuring presentation quality and serving food to guests by position number. Secondary responsibilities include assisting servers in providing excellent guest service, clearing plates, cleaning, stocking, and helping other positions. Anticipate guests’ and coworkers’ needs and exceed guest service expectations. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Respond urgently and appropriately to guests’ and coworkers’ needs. Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms. Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems. Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return. Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift. Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: Friendly, energetic, detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment! Restaurant experience. A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team. Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
