Why Leaders Choose Inpatient Rehabilitation Lead a team focused on meaningful patient recovery and measurable outcomes Collaborate closely with PT, OT, Speech Therapy, physicians, and case management More predictable care environment supporting proactive staffing and workflow planning Foster a supportive, team‑focused culture that promotes engagement and growth Build leadership experience while improving quality and patient experience About the Bronson Rehabilitation Unit Acute inpatient rehabilitation unit serving stroke, orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical patients with an Integrated Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy model 24‑hour skilled nursing care aligned with rehabilitation goals Interdisciplinary care planning to support safe discharge and recovery; medical oversight by a Physiatrist specializing in Rehabilitation Medicine Position Summary The Assistant Nurse Manager partners with the Nurse Manager to support daily operations, patient care quality, staff engagement, and efficient unit performance. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and serve as a clinical resource and role model Support quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives Promote a positive work environment and assist with staff recruitment, development, and retention Ensure a safe and efficient patient care environment through interdisciplinary collaboration Assist with staffing plans, patient flow, and operational planning Support budgeting and resource stewardship Evaluate workflows, documentation, and care processes for quality and efficiency Provide weekend and off‑shift supervision in collaboration with leadership Schedule & Location Full‑time with weekday hours (Monday through Friday). Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees.
