Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1680 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Orthopedic experience including ortho trauma, total joint replacements, and care of orthopedic patients is preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Required Credentials: Must have compact license or MD license.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Uses Pyxis. Patient population includes total joint replacements, spine surgery, abdominal surgeries, urologic procedures, and general medicine.

Shift & Scheduling: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
