Occupational Therapist (OT)

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT), you will work on an as-needed basis, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work at your own pace.

About the Role:

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication

• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and professional standards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

• Design and implement customized occupational therapy programs to address patients' specific needs and goals

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on functional activities, adaptive equipment, and other rehabilitation techniques

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, progress, and outcomes

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current OT licensure in the state of Wisconsin

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
