Assistant Project Manager – T&D / Substation

A growing infrastructure consulting and project management organization is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support major Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Substation projects for utility clients.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career project professional looking to grow into a long-term Project Management role within the utility infrastructure industry.

Responsibilities:

• Support T&D and Substation projects from planning through closeout
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project controls
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, utilities, and field teams
• Support construction, procurement, permitting, and field activities
• Track project milestones, costs, risks, and documentation
• Assist with project reporting and client communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management – REQUIRED
• 1–4 years of utility infrastructure, T&D, or Substation experience
• T&D and/or Substation project experience – REQUIRED
• Experience with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, project controls, or construction coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• MS Project, Primavera P6, or Excel experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• $ 90K–$120K base salary, DOE
