Maintenance Mechanic - Aerospace Manufacturing (2nd Shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm) (Cudahy, CA)

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd Shift (1:30pm -10:00pm) to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that has been in business for over 30 years! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Troubleshoot & repair various pieces of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic equipment Ensure that safety-related work orders are given top priority to ensure the safety of all CPP team members Perform scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance and emergency repairs Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment Must be able to work overtime and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years of previous experience in a Technical Maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment required for this position HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered. Previous experience working with PLC's and VFD's strongly preferred, Mig and Stick welding experience Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills Knowledge of electrical testing equipments, skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools. Strong communication skills required Sponsorship is not available for this role.
