Our client is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build scalable GenAI platforms and reusable solutions that accelerate AI innovation across the enterprise.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing shared architectures, frameworks, and components that enable rapid development of AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping technical standards, supporting delivery teams, and driving adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Reusable Components

• Design and develop scalable GenAI architectures, reusable frameworks, and shared components to support multiple AI initiatives.
• Build reference implementations and starter kits to accelerate development and deployment of AI solutions.
• Establish and apply best practices for LLM-based applications, agent-driven systems, and multi-modal AI use cases.
• Continuously enhance reusable assets based on feedback, evolving requirements, and advancements in AI technologies.

Delivery Enablement & Technical Support

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve delivery speed, consistency, and quality using shared solutions.
• Provide hands-on support for complex technical challenges, including prototyping and troubleshooting.
• Assist delivery teams in implementing scalable and reliable AI solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
• Mentor peers to improve technical capabilities and promote best practices in AI engineering.
• Clearly communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration & Responsible AI

• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
• Promote responsible AI practices, including model evaluation, safety considerations, and compliance.
• Support the transition from prototype to scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience building AI-powered applications and reusable platforms or frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, context engineering, vector databases, and multi-modal AI systems.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms; familiarity with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Experience working with AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, GitHub workflows, and modern development tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and data platforms (e.g., Databricks).
• Exposure to MLOps practices and application observability tools.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
