Occupational Therapy Assistant
A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy services is seeking multiple full-time certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) for in-person school-based positions in Oakley, CA. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of diverse children and their families, ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
Location: Oakley, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: In-Person (School-Based)
Compensation: $36.00 - $56.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
Qualifications
- Active certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) license in California
- Minimum one (1) year of experience
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student development
Compensation & Benefits
- $36.00 - $56.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) + sign-on bonus
