Are you an experienced Controls Programmer with a passion for HVAC systems and building automation ? We’re seeking a talented professional to join a reputable mechanical and controls contractor in the Nashville area . This role plays a key part in designing, programming, and supporting HVAC control systems for large commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and commission HVAC control systems (DDC, BAS, PLC-based) for commercial projects
• Develop and modify control logic, graphics, and sequences of operation
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to meet design specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure smooth project delivery
• Support system start-up, testing, and documentation
• Provide remote or on-site technical support to clients and field staff

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls programming or building automation systems
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, control sequences, and electrical fundamentals
• Experience with major BAS platforms (such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Distech )
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
