As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Idaho Falls ID this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and other individuals by carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds entrances parking areas and designated interior areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points verifying authorization as directed and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Document patrols incidents observations and other security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
