Marketing Project CoordinatorThe Marketing Project Coordinator coordinates the operational workflow of the Marketing, Communication & Design (MCD) department by coordinating project intake, timelines, and production logistics across marketing campaigns and communications initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, Communication & Design, this role ensures projects move efficiently through the department by organizing requests, tracking deliverables, maintaining timelines, and coordinating operational processes between ASI departments and the MCD team.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Project Intake and Workflow CoordinationCampaign CoordinationDepartment Liaison and CollaborationPromotional Items and Production LogisticsPurchasing and Budget CoordinationCollaboration with Creative TeamsSupervisory duties include:Directly Supervises: NoneMinimum education and experience requirements include:Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Degree in project management or operations-related disciplines, marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, event management, or organizational leadership.Preferred education and experience include:Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, communications initiatives, or events. Experience working with project management platforms such as Basecamp, Asana, Monday, or similar tools. Experience coordinating vendor relationships or production logistics. Experience working in higher education, nonprofit, or student-focused environments.Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and track deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines effectively. Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry, record-keeping, and potentially using relevant software (e.g., inventory management). Ability to build positive relationships with staff, volunteers, community partners, and university departments. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Ability to adapt to changing situations and unexpected challenges. Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, juggle various tasks, and prioritize effectively. Participation in off-campus or after-hours events, meetings, or retreats may be required.Typical physical and mental requirements include:Sitting and standing for extended periods: The role involves significant computer work and meetings, requiring sustained sitting or standing. Walking and climbing stairs: Moving around the campus, attending events, and potentially using stairs regularly. Lifting and carrying moderate weight: This could include lifting and carrying materials for presentations, events, or production activities no more than 50lbs. Dexterity and fine motor skills: Operating computer equipment, handling small objects, and performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
