Store Manager

Responsible for managing store operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, and sales, while leading and developing staff to ensure effective store performance. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws. Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and make recommendations on pay and advancement. Maintain optimal store operations by opening and closing the store, managing inventory, and ensuring merchandise presentation aligns with standards. Analyze operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage. Ensure customer service excellence, store cleanliness, safety, and security. Adhere to company policies, complete documentation accurately, and maintain financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and manage cash procedures. Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is advantageous. Bi-lingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at some locations. Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts. Occasional outside weather exposure and driving for store-related tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
