We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment in Virginia, commencing Oct 5, 2026. This vital role offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage, where you will manage complex cases including advanced heart failure, heart transplant evaluations, post-transplant care, and LVAD patients. You will perform new patient evaluations, medication management, and coordinate multidisciplinary transplant care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage advanced heart failure cases
• Conduct heart transplant evaluations and follow-up
• Provide post-heart transplant management
• Care for LVAD patients
• Address cardiomyopathy
• Manage pulmonary hypertension
• Monitor cardiac transplant rejection
• Administer immunosuppressive medication management
• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Oversee medication management and titration
• Review labs, ECGs, echocardiograms, and biopsy results
• Coordinate multidisciplinary transplant care
• Handle hospital admissions/discharges (inpatient)
• Provide patient education
