Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (Birthing Unit) position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of circulating experience.

Details

• Inpatient hospital Obstetrics Birthing Unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 40 hours per week consisting of two 12-hour shifts (7 PM–7 AM) and two 8-hour shifts (11 PM–7 AM)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required, including MA Temp License
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) at intermediate level or higher
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with circulating experience required
• Preferred certifications (not required): ALSO (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics), Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing), and First Latch (breastfeeding certification)
• Date of birth and full Social Security Number required for consideration
• COVID vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions are accepted

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a reduced rate
• Blue scrubs are a safe color choice, though no specific scrub color is mandated
