Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department. This facility is both Stroke and STEMI Certified and provides care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Options

• 36 Hours/Week or 48 Hours/Week Available
• Every Other Weekend Required

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required (Hard Stop)
• At least 2–3 completed ER travel assignments
• Epic charting experience required (Hard Stop)
• Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC
• SANE

Unit Information

• Large, high-volume Emergency Department
• 74-bed Emergency Department
• Daily Census: 165–175 patients
• Patient Ratio: 1:4 (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Stroke Certified Facility
• STEMI Certified Facility
