Parts ManagerTitle: Parts ManagerLocation: Wenatchee, WAJob Type: Exempt (salaried)Openings: 1Salary Minimum and Maximum: $90K - $120K per yearJob Summary: The primary function of the Parts Manager is the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.Duties and Responsibilities:Merchandise the parts inventory to meet sales and profit targetsSupervise Parts Department employeesControl the Parts Department inventoryTrain and develop Parts Department employeesReview and analyze performance results, taking corrective action, when applicableStart and follow through on plans and programs to meet Company goals and objectivesCoordinate and cooperate with other functional and staff managersQualifications:At least five years heavy and medium duty diesel truck parts sales experience with successful management experienceThorough understanding of parts and inventory management (preferably with medium and heavy-duty trucks)Knowledge of bills of lading and freight billsComputer terminal data input, 10 key calculatorExcellent organization and communication skillsHigh school diploma or the equivalentAbility to read, write and comprehend English instructions and informationWorking Conditions: This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, making and receiving phone calls, filing, and ten-key. For part of the shift, will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of at least 35 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance.
