Our client is currently seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator (Tier 3)
Duration : 6 months with possibility of extension Location : Hybrid in Denver, CO or Nashville, TN

We are seeking a highly skilled Tier 3 Microsoft 365 Administrator to provide advanced technical support, administration, and engineering for our enterprise environment. This role serves as the ultimate escalation point for complex issues and leads crucial platform optimization efforts. You will partner closely with security, identity, and infrastructure teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable ecosystem. The position offers flexible hybrid or remote work options depending on business needs and may require periodic on-call rotation for critical incidents.


Responsibilities:
• Administer and optimize M365 services across SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams to manage permissions, governance, mailboxes, and meeting policies.
• Act as the highest-level escalation point to resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and manage Microsoft Premier/Unified Support cases.
• Partner with security teams to implement Conditional Access, Data Loss Prevention, and eDiscovery policies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripting using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and M365 APIs to improve operational efficiency and self-service tooling.
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 support staff while creating technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural input for new projects.
• Manage tenant-wide settings, monitor service health, handle licensing, and conduct ongoing capacity planning.


Minimum qualifications:
• 5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Expert-level experience managing SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams through their respective Admin Centers.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for Microsoft 365 administration and automation.
• Solid understanding of Azure AD and Entra ID for identity, authentication, and access management.
• Experience troubleshooting hybrid environments, including on-premise Active Directory and Exchange hybrid setups.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.


Preferred qualifications:
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, Exchange, Teams, or Security certifications).
• Experience managing Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, and Intune.
• Familiarity with executing large-scale migrations to Microsoft 365.
• Experience operating within regulated or highly secure enterprise environments.
