The Paint and Body Specialist is to maintain our high standards of safety and extend the life of our assets. Employee Benefits

- File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired services, using power tools and hand tools
- Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint.
- Follow supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take.
- Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders, and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment.
- Cut and tape plastic separating film to outside repair areas to avoid damaging surrounding surfaces during repair procedures and remove tape and wash surfaces after repairs are complete.
- Ability to work independently over long periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to apply knowledge in multiple areas of vehicle body repair and materials.
- Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Ability to fabricate, paint, assemble, or disassemble vehicles using hand or power tools.
- Knowledge of fiberglass repair techniques and how to properly prepare surfaces for repairs.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Completion of an automotive training program. Vocation or technical school preferred.
- 2 years of body and paint experience.
- Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
- Chest X-ray at hire and annually per OSHA standards.
- Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes. Tools must meet or exceed minimum tool list.
