As a SEO Content Writer at Basilio Inc, you write content built to rank and convert. You sit inside the Search Authority team, own your results, and are measured on what you move, not hours logged. Basilio Inc is a growth and marketing company that builds and runs brands across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and the open web. We hire operators, train them on proven systems, and give them real accounts to run. This is a remote-first, outcome-owned role for someone who wants to do the best work of their career on brands that are actually scaling. What You Will Own Write on-page and blog content from keyword and intent briefs Structure content for search, answer engines, and readers Optimize existing pages for rankings and conversion Hold voice and accuracy across a high volume of pages Keep on top of algorithm, SERP, and AI-answer changes and adjust the plan Coordinate with content, dev, and design to ship SEO work that holds Educate clients on the roadmap and what each move is worth A Typical Week Move your core metrics: ranking and traffic on written pages and publish volume on cadence Hands-on execution in Surfer or Clearscope, Ahrefs, Google Docs Sync with content writers, technical and web developers, and the paid media team and report progress What Success Looks Like First 30 to 60 days: you are fully ramped on your accounts and tools and already moving ranking and traffic on written pages Ongoing: you consistently hit target on ranking and traffic on written pages and publish volume on cadence You leave every account, campaign, or project measurably better than you found it Competencies Search-first writing Speed with accuracy AI fluency: strong prompting and sound judgment on when to trust or override a model (required) Ownership: you run your lane end to end and are measured on the outcome Clear, direct written and verbal communication Comfort working in a fast, data-driven, remote-first team Discipline with process, deadlines, and documentation Coachability: you take feedback and turn it into better work fast Education Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent portfolio. You report to your department lead and partner directly with account teams and, where the role calls for it, clients. Working With AI (Required) AI experience is required for this role. You are fluent with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), comfortable running models through OpenRouter and open models such as Qwen, and you write clear, effective prompts. Most of the work at Basilio Inc is AI-augmented, so you use AI to work faster and sharper every day while owning the judgment, accuracy, and final result yourself. Use AI across research, clustering, briefs, and drafting, and understand how AI answer and generative engines surface content. You verify facts and technical calls yourself and optimize for both classic and AI search.
