Great Conway Specialty Clinic is in search of an experienced Medical Receptionist/Check Out Clerk to join their team!

 

The Medical Receptionist Check Out Clerk plays a vital role in managing patient interactions and administrative tasks within a busy medical office. Reporting to the Medical Office Manager, this position supports multiple medical providers by coordinating appointment scheduling, processing patient payments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role involves using custom medical software and requires excellent communication and multitasking skills to ensure efficient office operations and positive patient experiences. No travel is required for this position.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-out processes efficiently
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Accurately enter patient data into electronic systems
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Maintain and update medical records as required
• Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical administration
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficient with appointment scheduling and patient reception
• Experience with data entry and electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
