Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Employment Type: Part-Time / On-Call (Event-Based)
We are hiring reliable Event Production Staff to join our team for creative event prep, prop painting, setup, and strike! This project-based, on-call role is perfect for energetic individuals who enjoy hands-on creative work, flexible scheduling, and seeing large-scale event setups come to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Prop Painting & Prep: Prep, prime, spray-gun, and hand-roll latex paint onto custom props, sets, and event structures (100% water-based latex paint; no spray paint/enamels).
- Event Set Up & Strike: Load/unload trucks, move decorative props, set up event decor, and execute teardown (strike) following post-event wrap-up.
- General Labor: Assist with shop organization, surface sanding, material handling, staging items, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with basic paint guns, rollers, brushes, or surface prep is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible, event-driven hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, or late nights depending on production needs).
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and comfortably perform physical studio and field labor.
- Strong team player, dependable, and punctual for scheduled project call times.
- Must have reliable transportation throughout the City of Industry and surrounding area.
