Immigration Attorney - Pittsburgh, PA

Direct Counsel is partnering with an AmLaw 200 firm seeking an Immigration Attorney with 6+ years of experience for its Immigration business unit in the Pittsburgh, PA. office.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive employment-based immigration experience , including H-1B, PERM, I-140, AOS, E, O-1, L-1, and TN matters, and a willingness to work on a variety of business immigration cases.Candidates must have an active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction). This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week .

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

• Substantial experience helping to manage client work including liaising with client contacts and responsibility for managing the clients’ immigration matters internally

• Possess strong advocacy, research, and writing skills

• A high-level attention to detail

• Strong academic credentials

• The ability to take initiative, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Experience supervising junior associates, paralegals, and other support staff

Day to Day responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the primary legal and strategic point of contact for assigned corporate clients

• Advise clients on business immigration strategy, workforce planning, and compliance considerations

• Oversee and review matters prepared by associates and paralegals

• Lead regular client status calls, planning discussions, and escalations

• Manage and mentor associates, paralegals, and support staff assigned to client teams

• Coordinate closely with firm Members on client strategy, service delivery, and resource allocation

• Identify process improvements and efficiencies within client immigration programs

• Support business development efforts and contribute to long-term client relationships

 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $140,000 – $155,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

• Bonus: Annual discretionary performance bonus
