About the Role This is an Independent Practice opportunity for physicians who want to own and operate their own sleep medicine practice while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO for all non‑clinical business functions. Physicians maintain full clinical authority and decision‑making. MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing through MedCBO, as required. Determine clinical services offered by the practice. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform, implementation and telehealth support. EHR, clinical workflow systems and credentialing support. Account­ing, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure. HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support. Supply‑chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.
