Customer Service Representative (Senior Loan Consultant)

General Summary The role of Sr. Loan Consultant is to support the Branch Manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch and ensuring all operational functions are performed properly, while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security, and satisfaction to customers and staff. Major Duties / Responsibilities Assist with the management and motivation of staff to meet goals and objectives related to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections, and expense. Make loan decisions up to established lending limits or recommend loan decisions; process consumer loans, close consumer loans, and collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency. Assist branch manager with business development relationships within the community. Sell products and services to meet sales goals. Assist customers with implementation of solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction. Assist branch manager with matters regarding hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews and terminations as applicable. Ensure a high quality of customer service. Perform all other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 5+ years of consumer finance or related experience. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Excellent communication skills. Proficient working knowledge of industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications. Preferred / Desired Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree. Bilingual (Spanish/English). Compensation The salary range for this position is competitive based on the job duties as well as the specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience of the selected candidate. The position is eligible for quarterly incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines. Work Environment Office environment.
