Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate, and maintain CNC machines including mills and lathes (3, 4, 5-axis & multi-axis)
- Perform hands-on programming and machining for aerospace-grade parts
- Collaborate with engineering to develop and document machining processes
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure high precision and quality
- Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback
- Ensure quality control and conformance to engineering specifications
- Operate machines such as Mazak, Kuraki, Hermle, DMG Mori, etc.
- Utilize CNC controls like Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Mazatrol
- Maintain a safe and inclusive working environment
- Use computers to manage setup sheets, documentation, and quality records
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision industries
- Hands-on experience with materials such as Inconel, Monel, Titanium, Copper, Aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T (ASME Y14.5M-1994)
- Familiar with Mastercam, Unigraphics NX, and CMM operations (a plus)
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
- Tooling and fixture design
- VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) experience
- Experience with plating, heat treat, EDM, coating, or grinding
- Forklift or crane operation skills
