Concrete Foreman

Overview SW Funk Industrial Contractors is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead industrial concrete crews on projects throughout Virginia and the surrounding region. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning work, supervising crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe job site. Projects are typically located within a 4-hour drive of Richmond, VA. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise crews of 5-10 carpenters, finishers, and laborers Plan daily work activities and assign tasks Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform layout for concrete formwork and anchor bolts Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification Complete daily reports, timesheets, and safety documentation Train and mentor crew members Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements 5+ years' experience in industrial concrete or form carpentry 2+ years' experience leading construction crews Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Experience with concrete forming, rebar, anchor bolts, concrete placement, and finishing Valid driver's license Willingness to travel to regional job sites If you don't have a resume, no problem - we can send you a short questionnaire or go through your experience over the phone.
