Purchasing AgentHours: 8:30am -5:00pmLocation: Streetsboro, OHOur client is seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with a strong purchasing background. The Purchasing Agent will work closely with the sales team to ensure products are purchased efficiently, pricing is competitive, and inventory needs are accurately analyzed.Key Responsibilities:Place, monitor, and track purchase orders from start to finish.Analyze purchasing trends and product movement to make informed buying decisions.Review annual and monthly product movement reports to determine appropriate purchasing quantities.Work closely with the sales team to support customer needs and inventory requirements.Maintain accurate pricing and purchasing records.Learn company products, customers, and competitors to make strategic purchasing decisions.Build vendor relationships and, over time, negotiate pricing and terms.Perform other purchasing and inventory-related duties as assigned.Key Requirements:Previous purchasing or buying experience is required.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Computer savvy with the ability to learn new software systems.Willingness to quickly learn company products, customers, and industry competition.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.Candidates must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and must be able to provide two professional job references.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $65,000.00All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
