Here’s The Role We are looking for a dynamicGas Plant Operations/Maintenance Manager to leadthe maintenance team at Timmerman Power Plant. In this pivotal role, you willdevelop and implementindustry’s best practices for our RICE peaking power plant, driving top-tier reliability. You willcollaborate seamlessly with cross-functional support teams across LCRA to keep operations running smoothly andaligned with companypolicies and procedures.If you thrive on leading ateam of highly skilled professionals and technicians, we want to hear from you! How You’ll Contribute Ensure safety and environmental policies, programs and procedures are implemented and followed. Cultivate team success through active mentorship, training, and operational guidance. Mange and forecast department budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility across the department. Drive continuous improvement by developing strategic plans to maximize plant efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with LCRA stakeholders to align scope, scheduling, and budgets for all routine and emergent projects. How You’re Qualified Nine or more years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, work management, planning, business support, environmental services, construction or other relevant experience, including three or more years' experience preparing and managing budgets and supervising employees. A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
